Coronation Street's Peter Barlow is "shocked" at Leanne Battersby's wedding plans. The soap's bad boy, played by Chris Gascoyne, returns to Weatherfield with his new girlfriend Carla Connor (Alison King) after the pair fled to Los Angeles earlier this year as they lost their custody bid for Peter's son Simon. But Peter is taken aback by the news that his ex-wife Leanne (Jane Danson) is marrying her ex-husband and childhood sweetheart Nick Tilsley (Ben Price). Chris told InsideSoap magazine: "Peter's utterly shocked that Leanne is marrying Nick. He still has deep feelings for her, and believes she has feelings for him.
