Coronation Street's Peter Barlow will threaten to kill love rival Nick Tilsley on the day of his wedding blessing. The scorned former alcoholic - played by Chris Gascoyne - will leave the his mate fighting for his life after finding out he has been having a saucy affair with his wife Leanne (Jane Danson). Taking an iron bar to his enemy's head after his Valentine's Day (14.02.11) blessing, Peter says: "I think it's time we had a little chat. I'm going to kill you Nick. I've nothing to lose. My wife's cheated on me, my dad thinks I'm back on the booze and I can't bear to tell my son that another man has bedded his new mum.
