'Coronation Street's Peter Barlow is set to clash with Nick Tilsley in series of bust-ups. The recovering alcoholic is due to fight with the suave businessman on several occasions as producers want their feud to mimic the legendary rivalry between Peter's dad Ken Barlow and the late Mike Baldwin. The pair's first clash takes place when Peter (Chris Gascoyne) sees his fiancee Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) talking to Nick (Ben Price) in the Rovers Return and assumes they are having a sordid affair. Bookmaker Peter drags Nick - who used to be married to Leanne - out from the pub punches him in the face when he refuses to back down. Rovers Return barman Ciaran McCarthy (Keith Duffy) eventually pulls the pair apart but the peace doesn't last… (more)
